Access to verified and standardized tooling data is key to reliable machining. Through the collaboration between Sandvik Coromant and Dassault Systèmes, CoroPlus® Tool Library is integrated with DELMIA Machining to support efficient and consistent CAM workflows.
Search, assemble, and apply tool assemblies directly in the machining environment, reducing manual handling and improving simulation reliability.

DELMIA Machining, part of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform from Dassault Systèmes, is a CAM solution used for programming, simulation, and validation of machining operations. It supports the definition and verification of machining processes before production.
To get started with DELMIA Machining and CoroPlus® Tool Library, DELMIA Machining 2026 must include the Cutting Tool Technologist role, which is required for this integration and may need to be purchased with your DELMIA Machining license. Access to CoroPlus® Tool Library through a valid subscription or trial is also required. Tool assemblies can then be created in CoroPlus® Tool Library and transferred directly into DELMIA Machining for use in programming and simulation.
1. Open the Tool Vendors Catalog in DELMIA Machining
In the Cutting Tools Builder application, access the Tool Vendors Catalog to connect to CoroPlus® Tool Library.
2. Build your tool assembly in CoroPlus® Tool Library
Create the desired tool assembly using verified geometries and cutting data.
3. Send the assembly to DELMIA Machining
Save the assembly and use Send to DELMIA Machining to transfer it into your CAM environment.
4. Review the imported assembly in DELMIA Machining
In the Cutting Tools Builder application, review the imported tool assembly. Once confirmed, the assembly is ready to be applied.
Watch how DELMIA Machining receives CoroPlus® Tool Library tool assemblies to support better simulation quality and faster programming decisions.
