Exceptional performance and more than 65% recycled content*

Sustainability is incorporated into the development of our steel turning grades, which contain more than 65% recycled material, helping you to reach your sustainability targets.

    Superior quality, excellent performance

Benefit from outstanding tool life, reliability and productivity

    More than 24% CO2 reduction**

By decreasing the need for virgin raw materials

    Secure resource availability

Together, we can support circular material flows to protect our resources and supply stability

    * The recycled content is year 2025 calculated using yearly figures provided by our suppliers.

** Life cycle inventory (LCI) study based on supplier data from 2025 and scientific publications we calculate a 24-35% reduction in CO2 footprint on raw material compared to using only virgin material in grade GC4415 and GC4425. Calculations are not third party validated.

    Toughness and wear resistance combined

New substrate provides a unique combination of toughness and resistance against plastic deformation, an indispensable feature for reliable machining.

Demo: High feed roughing with GC4405

GC4405 offers outstanding plastic deformation resistance for exceptional productivity and long time in cut, especially in harder steels above 300 HB. Dry machining is possible in softer steels.

    GC4425 and GC4415 vs. competitors

With an average tool life increase of 25%, GC4425 and GC4415 deliver results that outperform competitors.

    Find your grade

Our steel insert grade assortment consists of CVD- and PVD-coated carbide grades for various machining conditions. Use the information below to find the right grade for your production. Higher productivity (vc) means increased plastic deformation and crater wear resistance. Chipping resistance and edge line security is dependent on how stable the machining conditions are.
